We've just started "Season Three" of Pesky Birds on a fresh new world and are looking to expand our community with a few new members. We currently have between 10 and 20 active players. Our community is aimed towards mature, English-speaking members located throughout the world. We're looking for builder-oriented players that enjoy working with other members on community builds in a survival setting. It is fully set up and ready to go, all it's missing is a player-base. I'd like to start the server once we get at least 15 people on. I think it is always more fun to start together as it helps form the community right from the start. Plus new people joining late in the game means they will be very far behind. Of course the con of that is you will have to wait for the actual server to start. The server is planned to be hermitcraft like. It is meant to be very focused on building and communicating. We will use the common diamond economy system, probably building a shopping district as we go on. We will work on projects together but the solo experience is something that definitely still plays a big part. Please note that we will have our event server up for just a little longer. Our recent fundraiser (we don't pay to play!) had Skyblock for the theme! The Fundraiser Event Server's still open if you want to visit and take a looksee around! You will have to load up a 1.15.2 to hop onto event.nerd.nu, however. PvE - This is our non-PvP server - come along and join us! Players build in survival mode, but only need to worry about mobs! A lot of people collaborate to build towns and cities as for example seen here. Our PvE map has reset as of October 30th! With a fresh, new map you can find some land to build solo or join a town! We also have our Friday Games night in which a different player/town hosts a game, which could be spleef, thimble, or a myriad of other games! Creative - Our creative server is mostly open world, and a mixture of naturally generated and world painted terrain. Protection is available for your builds, and WorldEdit is free for you to use, if you want to. Community events on Creative include Spleef and Speed Build on alternating Saturdays. Today we will be hosting Speed Build at 9pm eastern! Our Creative server is now running on 1.16.4! Creative is currently on Revision 35! Come and take a look! PvP This is labeled as PvP as it really doesn't fall into any of the other labels! PvP is permitted. Xray, duping, fly hacks, and other hacks are not allowed. This server is mostly a group of players that have come to play out and test out the latest snapshot! x.nerd.nu is now running the latest 1.17 snapshots. The server is not connected to our main game lobby, so you must connect directly to x.nerd.nu with your snapshot client. We currently have this down for maintenance while our event server is up. We hope to have it running again soon! The map is not guaranteed to continue from one week to the next. It may reset when absolutely necessary due to stability problems. There is no final map download; everything you build is temporary and for the sake of your enjoyment in the present moment.
