We strive to enhance the minecraft vanilla experience through the introduction of plugins. The minecraft version is currently 1.17.1! How are we different to other MC Servers?Races! Do you ever feel bored of playing vanilla minecraft? Well in this server, every player has the ability to change their race. Ranging from Vampires to Lycanthrope, Angels to Demons and many more! Don't worry, if this doesn't suit you, you can pick a human race for a more vanilla-like experience. Of course, every race comes with its pros and cons. Click here for more details. Other featuresTo make the players have a more immersive feel, we incorporated a Towny plugin. Players are able to create towns and nations (if they are ambitious) and invite others to join them. In doing so, you can create alliances, start wars (though we haven't had one yet! Thankfully) or simply a safe haven from those nasty mobs. Speaking of mobs, we have custom mobs such as unicorns. We have many more, but you'll have to find out by joining the server! EventsEvery week, we try to spice up the server by doing weekly events such as Hide and Seek and Boss Battles. Winners of these events are rewarded with awesome prizes as well as all participants who took part in the event! If I, were you, I would try and take part in all events! Current pluginsPlugins include McMMO, economy, towny, custom enchants and multiple dimensions such as Mining and Nether dimensions. These dimensions will get reset every 3 months or so; this is because it allows new players to gather materials that are much harder to find in the survival world. XMC is a tightly knit group of players who've been playing together for over a year. If you're looking for a nice place to play Minecraft with minimal toxicity, or just a place to dump your cat pictures, this is the place! While reset when 1.17 Part One released. The rules are expanded upon in our discord. Who we're looking for We have some age restrictions in place. We are a (slightly) strictly 18+ server. We do make some exceptions if your application is up to par. We're looking for players who are at least moderately skilled, or are willing to learn. You don't have to be a building or redstone master, just be interested in expanding and trying new things along with a group. We would like those who enjoy the endgame, over those who do not. Please mention the feature you're most excited for in 1.17 somewhere in your application, this is just to make sure people actually read the post and don't just skim over it. We have a strict inactivity policy that weeds out any that have abandoned the server. Those who are not online for an extended period of time will be direct messaged. If they do not reply in a reasonable timeframe, their member role is removed. World Information On XMC we have a capitalist society that is moderately controlled, but players are mostly left to do their own thing. There are two islands at "spawn". Shopping, and Spawntown. Shopping is for shops as the name implies, and Spawntown will be a mash of all of the districts that exist on the server. You will have to pay for the land those buildings are on (In the shopping district). We're also doing optional "districts" this season. There are a variety of themes ranging from underground/dwarven, to magical and modern. You aren't forced to build in one, but it'd be a lot cooler if you did. Plugins/Mods XMC uses the fabric mod loader server-side to load plugin-like mods. These mods can range from allowing us to see who interacted with what containers to prevent stealing, to allowing people to place blocks with dispensers. Each of these mods is selected to keep as much of the vanilla experience as alive as possible, while adding a bit of a twist to it in some places. You can find a full list of our features here. In that document you will see a list of individual features we have enabled, alongside each and every mod that we have on the server. When you join XMC, you can also do /mods in-game to get a full list. None of these mods should change vanilla behaviors in any way. So a group of scientists funded by all of the major world governments create a rocket known as "The Ark", a spaceship with room for 45 people (assuming everyone from the old server comes over). The course set for "The Ark" is Proxima-b but during the space flight the rocket malfunctions and is now hurling towards Proxima-b. Will the people survive the crash or die a horrible death? The server runs on a dedicated pc (so it's fast) and uses velocity and PaperMC. The server has a sleep add-on and a shop add-on. (ShopKeepers) We do have a regulated spawn with shops. That's all that is somewhat controlled (but it's not really controlled, we just want good builds if you are going to build in spawn) Other than that, the server is just a regular vanilla server and has a vanilla feel. The idea was is it would be fun to have a server with a bunch of other people, so we made it happen! We encourage everyone to invite their friends as well!
