Who we are: ToastCraft What we are about: SMP with PVP Turned On, and fans of bread that has been cooked a second time. What we are not about: griefing Mob Griefing: On for Villagers so they can harvest. Off for Enderman, Ghasts, Creepers on surfaces. Keep Inventory: off (items drop upon death) Firespread: off We are ToastCraft. We are simple survival multiplayer with pvp turned on. No pay to win. We are named after a type of bread that people decided to cook again after already being baked once. You start with 3 /sethomes. After 12 hours of play time, you get access to an additional /sethome and /jumpto which will move you to where you're looking. Also, there are two PVP arena areas where you can fight without risk of losing your inventory or XP. You can access these at spawn. Spawners can be mined with silk touch pickaxes. Spawners can be changed using mob spawn eggs that are rare drops upon killing certain mobs. (See Discord for a list) Welcome to ToastCraft.
The chat is relaxed and generally not very serious. With that said, here are the rules. Rules:
Join our discord to get more info. Use /rtp or /wild to find a random place to build. /back is also enabled which will take you back to your previous location. I have a lot of experience. I'm looking for players who want to be in a small, close-knit community with each other. Of course, if you prefer building and playing by yourself then do it. I don't mind swearing, I don't mind more mature conversations in the chat, just don't overdo it to the point where I have an admin step in. Speaking of Admins, I don't have any. However, don't think that you will come onto my server and get easy access to Admin. At my current job, I am a supervisor that maintains and creates great leaders. If you want to become part of my staff, prove that you can be a leader. I don't want to hear how many other servers you have been an admin on, I'll see it if you are. Donations - Donator Class I hate the concept of Donator classes. Who wants to go into a server, and know someone donated money to be better than anyone in the server? I can't stand it. In the future, I might add a Donation button to keep the server running, but it won't convey any added features aside from maybe a chat icon(still against this idea because it creates bias later on). Donators will NEVER have a better chance at being an admin either. You can not buy your way to success in my server, I feel that your real world status shouldn't effect your game status. We offer players the experience to play Minecraft the way it was meant to be played, including a lively social dynamic that characterized the earlier days of Minecraft servers. Gathering a vibrant community is one of our top priorities, with weekly social events, tournaments, and building projects, there is always something to be done. Server Details: Every aspect of Novadia has been carefully decided to promote a fair and fun version of the vanilla experience. Plugins are very minimal, with an anti-griefing tool for players being one of the few noticeable exceptions. There are no warps or player teleportation available, only a /spawn that serves as the hub of the server's activity and creativity. The idea behind this is to promote more interesting methods of travel which are offered by the vanilla game; such as riding horses, sailing across vast oceans, or constructing intricate minecart railways. This also encourages friendly players to live in close proximity to each other, forming towns and creating allies. And although the server is centered around a social PvE dynamic, PvP is still encouraged and always enabled outside of a small spawn radius. Tournaments and conflicts between player groups will keep things interesting for anyone craving a rewarding and intense combat experience. There are no ranks on Novadia - all players are treated as equals, and everyone is meant to feel included. Finally, every structure on the server is made in survival.
