Welcome to HearthCraft! HearthCraft is an SMP server that has been making the best experiences since October 2018. It has a laid-back and generally cool community that will surely let you feel at home--or at the Hearth. This server is a place to keep yourself warm from the potential coldness of the outside world. We strive not to remove the "Minecraft feel" of the server but adding just the right amount of features: not too many that it gets confusing, and not too few that it's boring. Here's what we present you with: Laid-back Community We're generally cool people here. We make sure that everyone is kind: no toxicity and no over-competitiveness. Our plugins are used only for administration, discord integration, permissions, and the prevention of exploits. We also have a few plugins to fix lag issues brought on by 1.14. The server is located in Montreal, Canada. You should have good ping in NA and the EU. Plugins CoreProtect - Logs interaction with the world so we can rollback griefing / item stealing. DiscordSRV - Allows our users to see server chat from anywhere, and even chat with players on the server remotely. We also use it as an easier way to access the console. IllegalStack - Used to prevent game exploits such as food duping and lingering bugs from 1.14.4. KeepItems - This plugin gives us a permission node for keep inventory. We have an opt out system. LimitPillagers - Used to help fix lag caused by 1.14's pillagers. LuckPerms - Our permissions plugin of choice. VillagerOptimiser - Used to help fix lag caused by 1.14's villagers. WorldBorder - Helped us create the world border, and pre-generate the chunks. Datapacks No Enderman Grief Double Shulker Shells Dragon Drops Elytra More Mob Heads Multiplayer Sleep Silence Mobs Crafting Tweaks (Decrafting ice, universal dying, ect. Nothing drastic.) Game Rules Fire spread is disabled. World Border Radius of 15k. Every structure you could want is in the border. Mesa biomes are designated for mining clay. There is the default border on The End and the Nether. End chunks will be pruned from time to time. Anti-Grief We are running core protect. This means we can rollback any player misconduct. We have a channel on Discord (#grief-report) to fix any issues you may have. Keep Inventory 1.14 isn't an optimized update. There will be times you may die from TPS drops. Due to this we have a unique way of handling keep inventory. Our keep inventory makes you lose XP on death. If you want to play without keep inventory, you will get a red name as a reward. Rules No stealing or griefing. We log these interactions, so please report incidents. Most duping is allowed. Carpet/rail, food, and duping of items such as diamonds or golden apples isn't allowed. TNT duping and zero tick farms are perfectly okay. We have rollbacks in place if someone abuses this. Repair any mob grief. Creeper holes and ghast explosions. Pranks are allowed, but make sure no items are lost or builds griefed. PvP is enabled, but should be purely consensual or harmless (such as punching someone). We began on February 10. The server is in Montreal and sports 8GB of RAM and hermitcraft datapacks. We ask that you be at least 16, but this is not a deal breaker. We have an active community with vibrantly personalities from across the world. Many players choose to play with friends and family. We defeated the ender dragon as a community event and hope to keep doing community events as we grow. We have a "growing world" vibe going on, where everyone is living fairly close together with a large roadway that branches off to everyone, so that we're all connected and can travel easily around the area. We have a handmade safe spawn area with a map of the entire surrounding area and roads, and a community bank where we all deposit extra items to create a large stockpile of items for everyone to share. We regularly help each other out with whatever comes up.. whether that's helping them get their stuff back after they died, helping clear some land for a build, giving items to each other or even just teaching each other how certain things work. On that note, we are all of various levels of experience with this game.. we have people who have played since the game was in beta and others who have never only ever played creative. We don't tolerate greifing of any sort and will result in a permanent ban on the first instance, we are all here to have fun so if you ruin the fun you can't be here. We're trying to make a small, tight-knit group of players. If you're familiar with Hermitcraft, that's the kind of vibe we're going for. It's a place with a high level of trust and camaraderie where you can build and chat together. People are always happy to help you out if you're new or work collaboratively with you on builds. We also have a Discord server to stay in touch. The vision of the server is to have several towns and settlements around the world. Players are encouraged to team up and build up towns. Towns and settlements should be spread apart by a fair distance. The distance should be around 500+ blocks (recommended). We also don't plan to reset the map (Unless made necessary due to updates). We want to see the map evolve over time with other people's builds - you can be a part of that history! We are running VanillaTweaks datapacks for increased quality of life (Multiplayer Sleeping etc). Meet the Owner Hey there, I'm CJ. Having run countless game servers in the past including a couple of whitelisted community Minecraft servers, I am very experienced when it comes to server management; to ensure everyone has the smoothest experience possible. I started as a technical minecrafter, taking interest in redstone and command blocks above anything else, but have come to develop a love for building over the years. I started with Minecraft 1.7, so have been an active member of the community for quite a while now. My schedule is fairly busy, however, I will be more than capable of running the server with the utmost care and confidence. I would love to be able to bring players together to create some wonderful moments and structures, and I hope through this server I can achieve just that. Applications

| Straight Up [Anarchy][SMP]{1.14.4} Posted: 09 Sep 2019 08:29 PM PDT Minecraft server "Straight Up" is always looking for more players. We are a small, "run from home" vanilla anarchy survival server. There is no worldborder, allowing everyone plenty of opportunity to build and explore. Although anarchy servers typically have no rules, we have just a few to keep the server running smoothly. Also, several anti-cheat plugins ensure fair play for all. Due to our server's "wide open spaces" pvp occurs, but is not prevalent here. Forming groups and raiding bases has become the dominant playstyle. Hermit style play is also popular.
