| LegoWelt[Vanilla]{SMP}{Whitelist}{1.16.5} Posted: 08 Feb 2021 05:06 AM PST This is a small vanilla server with a few vanilla tweaks. We started out as a small group of friends from Germany. We are in our mid 20s and have been enjoying Minecraft since our school years. We have always been keen on playing together and having fun in this virtual world. Living in a world not only by ourselves is a lot more enjoyable and fun! Seeing buildings grow and other things being built from other people is just a great feeling and gives so much joy. After a break from many of us, we are happy to get some new and active members around who enjoy doing stuff by themselves and as a community. There's still a lot of unfinished projects. A few fun games at a mini game hub have been created + a netherhub outline. There are many abandoned bases, depending on who's base it is, these bases may be claimed and brought back to life. If that is not your thing, there are many unclaimed lands around. There are no set rules on where you have to be on the server, it would be cool if we are all closer together so we can see each other from time to time or build bigger projects together. I happen to be terraforming a huge mountain range and a mountain cabin village and some wizard tower ( which is nearly complete... the wizard tower, not the mountains :P). Anyone is happy to be part of this massive project. Together is always better than alone :-). Features: This is a vanilla server and there are no mods installed. We are running on papermc with a few little tweaks that visually don't change the vanilla gameplay but improve the multiplayer smoothness by a lot. Paper also helps me figure out lag issues a lot better, if there are any. We do everything in survival, no creative or other game modes. There will be no commands for items/levels/spawning etc. Literally the scoreboard command will be used, because we like to see how often someone dies when pressing tab. We are testing out some data pack just to tweak vanilla experience a tiny bit. These are not final and might be changed in the future, depending on what the majority thinks is too much or needs to be added. Following Data packs are currently installed: Mob Heads have a chance of dropping on a kill (Reason: Fun) Player Heads will drop if killed by a player (Reason: Fun) The Enderdragon will drop an elytra (Reason: this helps the long marches through the end when it's been raided for thousands of blocks already) Shulkers drop 2 shells each (Reason: Same as above) XYZ and Time Display (Reason: Ability to show only the Coordinates and Direction instead of the whole F3 screen, which is overwhelmed by information and text) AFK Display (Reason: To see if someone is afk and not active) Multiplayer Sleep (Reason: Only 50% of the people online have to sleep to skip the night. We have changed this from 1 player sleep this week and it seems to be better this way) As with every decision, I as a server owner will ask my fellow members and debate on new data packs or community projects. I'm epo from Bityard, the adult Minecraft server and gaming community. We're looking to welcome some friendly new faces to our space! Bityard is a typical survival multiplayer server that has been online since before 2015. You may pretty much build and do what you like as long as you respect other players and public spaces. We are a smaller-population server that isn't active all the time - we're nothing like what Hermitcraft or Legacy might have you long for. We're simply a group of adult Minecraft enthusiasts who have grown to be good friends through the game. We all have our own bases and busy real lives going on but we revel in coming together to help each other out or work on bigger community projects when we can. We at least set aside time every two weeks to meet up and discuss new developments in what we're making and try building something new. We even occasionally organize events - for instance, over the holidays we did an in-game secret santa that was a lot of fun! Beyond just the Minecraft server, We like to keep up with each other through Discord and play other games together too, like Animal Crossing, Among Us, and Overwatch. We are hosted on a "High-End" DediMC New York node. We play on 1.16.4 with Fabric for a few server-side mods like Lithium, Phosphor, and BlueMap. Although the server is modded, you can still connect to it and play with a vanilla client. No need to install anything! You can check out our BlueMap here if you like: http://104.243.41.80:25570. Our current world was started in 1.13 and it is our 4th world so far. Though it is a couple of years old now, there is still plenty of room for new projects. That said, we are all looking forward to the world gen changes coming in 1.17 and we will be voting on whether or not to reset the world again when the update draws near. When you join the server, you will be prompted to download a resource pack. This is a very small pack that only adds a couple of things, like a pixel Discord icon for our chat relay and some assets for The Porcelain. | Posted: 08 Feb 2021 07:24 AM PST Disclaimer (this is a UK server, we accept anyone of any race ethnicity or language but be warned of possible language barriers and connection issues if that may be a problem) Info About The Server: This server is one that could technically be considered a hardcore server, although it has a twist! You're all given 3 lives by default, upon dying you lose these lives. Once all lives have been lost you will be banned as if it was hardcore mode, but for a limited time. Death by player results in 5 days, Death by mob results in 3 days, Death by environment results in 2 days... You do not have to necessarily wait out this time however, as if a player uses the command "/revive [Player]" they will sacrifice one of their lives for your own, if this is their last life it recognises their following death as one by a player, resulting in 5 days. This treatment is also given to combat loggers as if you log out after being hit by a player, it will register a player death... We also have a plugin (as used in the DreamSMP and SMPLive) to create instant map art! enjoy! We hope you enjoy the server as much as we do! New Players Will Get A 24 Hour Wait Before Joining The Server (We Know This May Inconvenience Some Of You But It Is Merely For Security Reasons) You Will Still However Get Full Access To The Server To Greet Members While You Wait...
